It also serves as a day to go above and beyond – acknowledging and appreciating the love and joy that pets bring into everyone’s lives. Make sure to show a little extra love and affection towards your pets today and remind them how grateful you are to have them in your life.

Be sure to celebrate this day by surprising your dog with a new toy or give your cat extra catnip! Sneak in some extra cuddles to show them how much you love and care for them. You can also consider making a donation or volunteering at your local pet shelter.
