Every year, the United Nations celebrates and recognizes volunteerism through the world. Last year alone, 64.5 million volunteers in the United States did their part in giving back to their community.  Join Miami Veterinary Specialists in recognizing the agents of change in our community, and check out some of the many ways that you can become involved.

South Florida Veterinary Foundation
The South Florida Veterinary Foundation works toward increasing the access of quality veterinary care in our community. Project Unleashed and the Tag-A-Long Program are just a few of the various ways to support this cause.

South Florida SCPA
The South Florida SCPA offers great volunteer opportunities for young teenagers and adults alike, from hands-on ranch work to helping with community outreach efforts at events.

The Cat Network
Based out of Miami, Florida, The Cat Network helps find warm, loving homes for homeless cats and kittens. They offer volunteers the opportunity to provide foster care to the cats, lend a hand at their Weekend Adoption Shows, and much more.

Humane Society of Greater Miami
The Humane Society of Greater Miami allows volunteers to give their time at the shelter. Additionally, they provide many volunteer opportunities outside of the shelter, including coordinating events, helping with pet therapy, and assisting in the Humane Education program.
