Thor is a 4-month old mixed puppy who has found himself in dog trouble recently. Don’t let his small size fool you… Thor definitely lives up to his name! He favored some octopus for dinner last week and it didn’t sit very well with him. After a couple of days of vomiting, lethargy and inappetence, Thor’s parents decided to bring him to our 24-hour pet emergency room.

Thor was presented to Dr. Alvaro Larin, one of our ACVS board-certified surgeons. After carefully discussing both veterinary surgical and non-surgical options. Thor’s parents agreed to have surgery performed. He performed a resection and anastomosis to a section of the intestine. Thor is now back home with his family and (hopefully) staying away from human toys!
